Amazon pay stubs live in one place: the A to Z app, the same app you use for your schedule and time off. Amazon calls them pay statements, and they are not in the Amazon shopping app or in your Amazon.com customer account — the most common reason new associates cannot find them. If you have already left Amazon, you are not locked out either: former employees get an A to Z Alumni account that still shows past pay statements.
This guide covers where the statements are, what changes after you leave, how to read the weekly stub, and what to do in January when you need a W-2 instead.
Quick take: Current associates open A to Z (app or atoz.amazon.work) and go to the pay section to view or download each weekly statement. Former associates use an A to Z Alumni account — Amazon emails an invitation when you leave, and you can set it up with your old username or personal email. Hourly associates are paid weekly, every Friday, so a seasonal job produces a new statement each week.
Tip: if a website asks for your Amazon login or Social Security number to "look up your Amazon pay stub", close it. Amazon's statements are only in A to Z, signed in with your own Amazon employee login.
1. Where current associates find their pay stub
A to Z is Amazon's employee app for schedules, time off, shift swaps and pay. Download it from the App Store or Google Play by searching for "Amazon A to Z", or use the browser version at atoz.amazon.work. Sign in with the employee login you were given at onboarding, not your shopping account.
- Open A to Z and sign in.
- Go to the pay section of the menu.
- Choose your pay statements and pick the week you need.
- Open the statement and download or save it as a PDF.
Menu labels move slightly between app versions, but pay statements always sit inside the pay area rather than under schedule or time off. The browser version is easier when you need several weeks at once — for a lease application, for example — because you can save each PDF straight to a folder.
Amazon's own hiring FAQ states that all hourly associates are paid weekly, every Friday, with 52 pay periods in a year. A new statement should therefore appear each week; if one is missing, it is usually the current week still processing rather than a lost record.
2. If you have left Amazon
Your regular A to Z access ends when your employment ends, which catches out many seasonal associates in January. What replaces it is an A to Z Alumni account. According to Amazon's hiring FAQ, former employees can redownload the A to Z app and see previous pay statements, and chat with MyHR, through that Alumni account. Amazon sends an email invitation when you leave; if you lost it, you can set the account up by entering your old username or personal email on the A to Z login page.
Two habits save trouble later:
- Download every statement before your last day. The Alumni account works, but a folder of PDFs on your own device works even when a password reset does not.
- Keep your personal email current in A to Z. Alumni setup and many reset codes go to the contact details Amazon has on file.
If you still cannot get in, ask MyHR in writing for copies of specific pay periods. Under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act recordkeeping rules employers must keep payroll records for at least three years, and many states give workers an explicit right to copies of their own wage records. A dated request that names the weeks you need gets further than repeated login attempts.
3. Warehouse, DSP driver or Flex? The answer depends on who pays you
"Amazon pay stub" covers three different situations, and only one of them actually involves Amazon payroll:
| Your role | Who pays you | Where the pay record is |
|---|---|---|
| Fulfillment, sortation, warehouse, seasonal associate | Amazon | A to Z pay statements; W-2 for the year |
| Delivery driver in a branded van (DSP) | The Delivery Service Partner company that hired you | That company's payroll system, not A to Z |
| Amazon Flex | Amazon, as an independent contractor | Earnings history in the Flex app; no pay stub, a 1099 if you cross the threshold |
DSP drivers are employees of independent delivery companies, so their stubs come from whatever payroll provider that company uses — ask the DSP's office, not Amazon. Flex drivers are not employees at all, so there is no withholding and no pay stub; you track earnings and expenses yourself and pay self-employment tax. Our guide to 1099-NEC versus a pay stub explains what records replace a stub, and how to make pay stubs when you are self-employed covers documenting that income for a landlord or lender.
4. Reading an Amazon pay statement
The statement follows the same logic as any U.S. pay stub: earnings, then taxes, then deductions, then net pay, each with a current-period and year-to-date column.
- Earnings. Regular hours and rate, overtime at time and a half for hours over 40 in the workweek, and separate lines for premiums such as shift differentials, holiday pay or incentives. Because Amazon pays weekly, each statement is one workweek, which makes overtime easy to check. See overtime on a pay stub.
- Paid time off. PTO and other paid leave appear as their own earnings lines; unpaid time off reduces hours instead. See PTO and holiday pay on a pay stub.
- Taxes. Federal income tax, Social Security (6.2%), Medicare (1.45%), and state or local taxes where you work. Social Security and Medicare on a 2026 pay stub covers the FICA lines.
- Deductions. Medical, dental and vision premiums, 401(k) contributions and anything else you elected. Pre-tax versus post-tax deductions explains why some reduce your taxable wages and others do not.
- Year to date. The running total since January — the figure your W-2 should broadly match. See what YTD means on a pay stub.
Our pay stub abbreviations glossary decodes short labels such as OT, SHIFT DIFF, MED or 401K if a line is not obvious.
5. Anytime Pay and why the Friday deposit can look small
Some Amazon jobs offer Anytime Pay, which lets you cash out part of the pay you have already earned before Friday. It is an early transfer of your own wages, not extra money. If you use it during the week, the Friday deposit is smaller because part of that week's net pay has already reached you. When the bank deposit and the statement do not match, put the statement next to your Anytime Pay history before assuming a payroll error; our guide to direct deposit versus pay stub amounts walks through matching the two.
6. Seasonal associates: what to expect on the stub
Amazon typically hires a large holiday workforce — its newsroom announced 250,000 full-time, part-time and seasonal roles heading into the holidays. A seasonal job is an ordinary W-2 job: the same taxes are withheld, and the stub looks the same as a year-round associate's.
Two things surprise seasonal workers. First, federal withholding can look high on a short job, because payroll withholds as if you earned that weekly amount all year; much of it may come back as a refund. Second, peak-season weeks with long hours produce overtime, which shows on its own line. Our guide to holiday and seasonal job taxes explains both, including the part-year withholding method you can ask for in writing.
7. Pay stub or W-2?
A landlord or lender usually wants recent pay stubs, which show current income. Tax filing needs a W-2, which summarises the whole calendar year. Employers must furnish W-2s by January 31. Look for yours in A to Z — or the Alumni account if you have left — and in the personal email and mailing address Amazon has on file; MyHR can tell you how it was delivered. If you have not received yours by the end of February, the IRS advises contacting the employer first and then calling the IRS; see W-2 versus your final pay stub for why box 1 rarely equals your last YTD gross.
8. Sending an Amazon pay stub to a landlord or lender
Send the PDF from A to Z rather than a photo of your phone screen, and send consecutive weeks — usually the most recent four, which with weekly pay is about a month. Do not edit anything, even a typo; change requests go to MyHR, who can correct the record. Our guide to using pay stubs as proof of income covers what reviewers check.
The five-minute version
- Install A to Z (not the shopping app) and sign in with your employee login.
- Open the pay section and download the weeks you need as PDFs.
- Check hours, overtime over 40 in the week, and premiums against your schedule.
- Leaving soon? Download everything and set a personal email for the Alumni account.
- Already left? Set up the A to Z Alumni account with your old username or personal email.
- Still stuck? Ask MyHR in writing for the specific weeks.
Quick answers
How do I get my Amazon pay stub?
Sign in to the A to Z app or atoz.amazon.work with your Amazon employee login, open the pay section and select the pay statement for the week you need. You can download each one as a PDF.
Can former Amazon employees see their pay stubs?
Yes. Amazon's hiring FAQ says former employees can see previous pay statements and chat with MyHR through an A to Z Alumni account, set up from the exit email or with your old username or personal email.
How often does Amazon pay?
Amazon states that hourly associates are paid weekly, every Friday, with 52 pay periods a year. Some roles also offer Anytime Pay for early access to earned wages.
Do Amazon Flex drivers get a pay stub?
No. Flex drivers are independent contractors, so no taxes are withheld and there is no pay stub. Earnings are tracked in the Flex app, and a 1099 is issued if your payments reach the reporting threshold — $2,000 for payments made in 2026.
I drive for an Amazon DSP. Why isn't my stub in A to Z?
Because the Delivery Service Partner, not Amazon, is your employer. Your pay stubs and W-2 come from that company's payroll system.
Can I make my own Amazon pay stub?
No. If Amazon pays you, the only valid pay stub is the one Amazon issued. Our pay stub generator is for people who run their own payroll — freelancers, contractors and small employers — not for recreating an employer's document.
